How the Chinese Year of the Horse Inspires Confident Growth, Leadership Development and Business Momentum in 2026
As we step into the Year of the Horse, I’ve been reflecting, not just on what this means symbolically, but on what it means for the people inside my business - Empowering Your Circle. To confirm, I am not an Astrologer or someone who can fully take you through the Chinese New Year and full meanings. This post is purely based on my take from the Year of the Horse and what it means for me and my business - and ultimately you, by working with me.
The Horse represents bold movement. Momentum. Visibility. Expansion. Energy.
This is not a quiet year.
This is not a “wait and see” year.
THIS IS a year that invites us to move.
And as someone born in the Year of the Dog, I’ve always built my work around Loyalty, Integrity and Protecting the people in my circle.
The Dog energy doesn’t rush.
So what happens when Horse momentum meets Dog integrity? I believe you get forward movement, with grounding.

What This Means for Empowering Your Circle
This isn’t about doing more for the sake of it. It’s about doing what matters, with intention.
Inside Empowering Your Circle this year, my focus is clear:
Creating practical learning experiences that drive measurable progress
Hosting Confidence Reset conversations that rebuild belief and direction
Amplifying honest, brave stories through the podcast
Supporting SME business owners to build confident, capable teams
Encouraging leadership that feels human, not performative
The Horse brings acceleration. But acceleration without clarity can feel overwhelming.
That’s where my role comes in.

What This Looks Like in Practice
Symbolism is inspiring. But impact matters. So what does Horse momentum and Dog integrity actually look like inside Empowering Your Circle this year?
🐎 Momentum in your growth
This is not a year for standing still. If you work with me, you won’t stay stuck in overthinking. You’ll gain clarity, structure and practical next steps that move you forward: in your business, your leadership or your career.
🐎 Confidence that feels real
Through Confidence Reset Circles, coaching conversations and development sessions, this year is about grounded confidence, not surface motivation, but belief that lasts when the room feels challenging.
🐎 Braver visibility
The Horse thrives in open spaces. Through the podcast and our conversations, we’ll speak more openly about growth, leadership and ambition and I’ll encourage you to step into rooms you may once have avoided.
🐎 Learning that creates measurable progress
Momentum needs direction. Through practical workshops, bitesize development and business training, you’ll gain tools you can apply immediately, especially if you’re building or leading within an SME.
🐎 Expansion without losing your values
Growth should feel aligned. The Dog in me will always protect integrity - yours and mine - as we build bigger, stronger circles.
🐎 Stronger circles, not solo success
Dogs build loyal communities. Horses expand the field. This year, growth is collaborative, definitely not competitive.

And What This Means For You
If you are building a business, stepping into leadership, navigating change, or simply feeling the quiet pull that you’re capable of more, this year is about momentum with support.
It’s about:
Moving from overthinking to action
Replacing self-doubt with grounded confidence
Strengthening your visibility without losing authenticity
Developing skills that create real-world impact
Making aligned decisions that move you forward professionally and financially
Many of the people I work with don’t lack ambition.
They lack clarity.
They lack structured support.
They lack spaces where they can speak honestly and grow safely.
The Year of the Horse is powerful energy.
But you don’t need to harness it alone.

My Intention for the Year of the Horse
This isn’t just about growth for me. It’s about growth for us.
It’s about helping you move forward, whether that’s building your business, strengthening your leadership, rebuilding confidence, or finally trusting your own voice again.
I want Empowering Your Circle to feel like:
Momentum with support.
Ambition with grounding.
Visibility without losing who you are.
The Horse may run fast. But I will always make sure we move forward together, and that feels like the right kind of growth.
What do you think?
